  20. It sound like a problem with the SCSI bus terminators. Only one of your
  21. harddrives should have terminators installed. In your case, try removing
  22. the terminators on the Quantum drive.

  24. There must be exactly *one* terminator at each end of the SCSI bus. The
  25. controller usually sits in one end and has one of the terminators. The
  26. SCSI device in the other end must have a terminator too, but *no* other
  27. devices on the bus is allowed to have a terminator.
